Shuttle Service
Complimentary round-trip shuttle service will be provided from the Carmel Valley Lodge and Contenta Inn to all wedding events.
Guests staying off-site (e.g. Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley Village), please park in the main Contenta Inn lot to access the provided shuttle transportation.

Arriving by Air
Whether you're joining us from across the globe or within the country, here is some information to help you plan your travel to Carmel Valley, Monterey County, CA.
For our International Travelers:
The most convenient major international gateway is the San Francisco International Airport (SFO), a scenic two-hour drive north. Alternatively, San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC), approximately a 1.5-hour drive north, offers another accessible option, though it may involve a connecting flight depending on your origin.
For our Domestic Travelers:
The Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is the closest and most convenient option, just a short 25-minute drive northwest of Carmel Valley. This charming airport offers daily flights to and from several major domestic hubs.
For those who prefer a wider selection of flights, San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) are also excellent choices, offering a lovely drive to Carmel Valley.
Making Your Way to Carmel Valley
Once you've arrived at the airport, several transportation options are available to bring you to the tranquility of Carmel Valley:
From Monterey Regional Airport (MRY):
Rental Car: For those who wish to explore the region at their own pace, numerous car rental agencies are located at the airport.
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): Convenient and readily available for a direct trip to your Carmel Valley accommodations.
From San Francisco (SFO) or San Jose (SJC) Airports:
Rental Car: Enjoy a picturesque drive to Carmel Valley, perhaps even taking the iconic Highway 1 south from SFO for breathtaking coastal views.
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): These services are an option, though please be aware that fares for the longer distances from SFO or SJC may be higher, and wait times could be longer.
Public Transportation: For the more adventurous travelers, bus and train options are available, though they may require transfers and a longer travel time. The Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) system connects to both San Jose (via Caltrain) and San Francisco. Please check their website for routes and schedules.
